Direkt från Airtec: Airtec front mount intercooler for MQB Vehicles with the 2.0TFSI EA888 Gen 3 Engine. Airtec have gone through extreme testing with the new intercooler for the Golf Mk7 EA888 platform. Tested at Time Attack UK, Nurburgring and dyno tested for accurate results. Stock intercooler temps run on average 64 degrees and peak to 68 degrees on the final run (5 runs) Car fitted with Cobra cat back. Temperature in at 156 degrees, a huge drop of 120 degrees with Airtec intercooler fitted. A decent power increase due to the standard VW intercooler being inefficient to cope with the extra heat generated for remapped cars and only designed to the standard 300 bhp.
